A very passionate and skilled Pediatric Physiotherapist with over 18 years of experience working with children having diverse neurological disorders like a) Cerebral Palsy, b) Autism, c) Types of Syndromes - Angelman’s, Cockayne, Wes and Down. My unique treatment style is adaptive and customized for individual children and their specific needs.

I have extensive knowledge and practical experience in applying principles of Neuro-Developmental therapy (NDT), using different adaptive equipment like Gym balls, Bolsters, Platform and Bolster swings, Tilt boards, etc. and conducting Sensory Integration Sessions with children diagnosed with pervasive developmental disorders like Autism, Dyspraxias, Vestibular and Tactile Dysfunction etc.

• Successfully treated over 250 patients, belonging to the age group between six months to 25 years till date.
• Over 70% of children achieved commendable improvements in terms of function like a) Independent walking, eating, walking on uneven surfaces, b) climbing stairs, c) shopping at nearby stores with bags without parent’s supervision, d) improved perception through sensory integration therapy resulting in a better understanding of various concepts taught in school.
• 20% of children showed marginal change with better function compared to their state prior to therapy.
• 10% of children with severe conditions showed limited improvements but were prevented from worsen conditions.
• Maintained a balanced relationship with all children during treatment focusing both on their physical treatment and their mental health.
• Patient and persevering Sensory Integration sessions mainly with Autistic children resulting in change.
